"Lex Ascendunt" Course
Due to popular demand, Leagle Language is partnering with its affiliate, Aletheia Academy, to provide a basic introductory course about Singapore's legal structure and basic legal issues for working professionals.
"Lex Ascendunt"
The aim of the "Lex Ascendunt" course is to allow your business to ascend to greater heights through better legal awareness and sophistication.

The introductory course spans 4 sessions (2 hours each). Topics include -
​
Basics of contracting;​
Basics of legal research;
Basics of intellectual property; and
Basics of handling a legal budget.
​
At the end of the course, you will obtain -
​
All hand-outs and slides;
Confidence to customise your own simple contracts;
Navigate through legal resources;
Understand how intellectual property laws can protect your products / services; and
Effectively manage a legal budget
Course Details
How much does it cost?
Each 2 hour session only costs S$250. This works out to be only S$125/hr*.

If you sign up for the entire "Lex Ascendunt" course (covering four sessions), you can enjoy a 20% discount and pay only S$800.
​
*GCE 'A' level tutors can command S$80/hr, while University level tutors can command S$100/hr.
When are the sessions?
All sessions will take place on weekday nights from 7pm to 9pm.

The "Lex Ascendunt" course follows a structure every month -
​
1st week of the month: Basics of Contracting
2nd week of the month: Basics of Legal Research
3rd week of the month: Basics of Intellectual Property
4th week of the month: Basics of Handling a Legal Budget

If you have bought the "Lex Ascendunt" package for S$800, you can attend the 4 different sessions for any month.
When will the sessions be confirmed?
As a rule of thumb, once we have 5 participants for any given session, we will confirm the session and proceed with the course.

If you sign up in a group of 5, further bulk discounts can be made available on a case-by-case basis.
