Developing Legal Minds Early

Why did we start Aletheia Academy?
This is a question I often get asked by parents. The answer is simple - to develop legal minds early.
This draws from my own experience as a law student and subsequently as a lawyer. I didn't get exposed to the law until I was in university. When I first stepped into the law campus and into my first class, the atmosphere was so intimidating, which is completely natural - we are all afraid of the unfamiliar. Even after my legal education, when I stepped into the working world, this was another intimidating experience as I had no one, who had walked the same path before, to guide me and to help me understand this strange new world.
It is the same for your child.
When they first entered primary school, they depended on you for guidance, assurance and mentorship. You could naturally give it to them as you have gone through the same experience before and can easily share with them what to expect (e.g. new friends, buying food from the canteen aunty, taking public transport, etc.).
The same can be done for aspiring lawyers or legal students.

Did you know that 4 out of 5 law school students have relatives who are themselves in the legal field? Whether as practicing lawyers, judges or academics, these relatives help to provide guidance and mentorship to these law school prospects at a very young age.
The statistics speak for themselves - early guidance and mentorship provides a significant boost to children aspiring to work in the legal field in the future.
Let your child have the opportunity to compete on an equal footing with other children who are fortunate enough to be surrounded by such relatives.
Aletheia Academy is here to help your child get the head-start he or she needs to develop knowledge and skills beyond that taught in the schools of today.
